August 26, 2020 – Women’s Equality Day Let’s Celebrate!

The world is in a challenging time with the coronavirus pandemic right now, and while much remains uncertain both from a health and financial aspect, one thing is for sure: this crisis will pass. The world, our nation and our communities will recover and come together. The darkness will fade and new possibilities will emerge.

2020 still has a great landmark to celebrate – the 100 Year Historic Commemoration of Women Winning the right to Vote! The 19th Amendment is also an inspiration and impetus for all Americans to VOTE this year in our Presidential election. We need everyone’s VOTE!

In order to celebrate and commemorate this historical and democratic achievement, Sedna Inspirations has created the Celebration 2020 hat line. Sedna Inspirations offers these Hats for Inspired Living to be worn widely throughout the country and the year — to show commitment to Women’s Equality and the Right to Vote. Our motto: to live our most INSPIRED lives by “wearing on the outside, what is true on the inside”. Sedna wants to share this energy and inspiration with all people who are empowered and activated by the victory of the suffrage movement. This Celebration is a Victory for Humanity – for and through Women, highlighting women’s role in our Democracy.

The last 100 years have been a period of constant struggle, change, and empowerment for women. 2020 will mark the Centennial anniversary of the passing of the 19th Amendment, which guarantees and protects the right of women to vote. This served as a pivotal point in history, both as the end of a fight, but the beginning of a new era for women across the country, and the world. We wanted to honor those who led the way and inspire those who continue walking through this path to this day.

In order to celebrate and commemorate the leaders and supporters of this powerful movement, we decided to release a hat dedicated to honor the peaceful, democratic process that achieved the most significant accomplishment of women in the Progressive Era.

The 19th Amendment: “The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex.  Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.”
We want to inspire others to remember that the impossible is achievable, that no goal is out of reach, and that through persistence, passion, and commitment, even the most arduous struggle can be conquered. In addition, we also want to remind women about the power they have, and how, in unity, they can make a difference in the world, and make it a better place for all.

Much has already been accomplished, yet the fight for gender equality is far from over, and we are here to support this fight, to empower those who, day by day, put their heart and thought into making a difference. We are here to inspire others, motivate them to join in and, together, make a difference, leave a positive impact on those around us, raising awareness and improving our communities. This is the time to inspire with Sedna Inspirations.
